My job is sucking the life out of me... It's been hard to work on Unholy at all, because it's such an intensive project. I spent June and July on a large commission; I haven't decided if I'll post it here yet...

I am working on some personal art, and I hope to post at least *something* in September. Sorry I haven't been looking at deviations and commenting and stuff. It's been so frustrating not being able to do more personal work, and looking at everyone else's awesome stuff was making it even harder, so I've been avoiding it. Again, sorry! Just trying to keep my sanity...

It'll be a few more months before I can *really* be productive again. Starting in September, I'll be taking a couple of classes on top of working full time, but I'm expecting happy changes in my schedule come 2010. Until then, I'll try to post the random piece of art here and there. I hope some of you will stick around until then!

The internet moves too fast for me!

I've been pretty much non-existent on the internet for a good month, or maybe a month and a half. If there's such a thing as crunch time at my job, this is definitely the time for it (though honestly, I think our crunch time is actually more like January to November). There are so many deviations and journal entries I really want to catch up on... I'm just not sure when I'll be able to. I'm hoping things will ease up at work after 7/15.

Anyway, I just thought I'd let people know I didn't die. I'm really trying to finish the next scene of Unholy, but it's been sloooooow. On the bright side, though, I'm devoting this weekend to the development of the comic as a whole (mostly research, but I'll probably work a bit on the colors, too). Hopefully that'll do something to renew my motivation.

Been way too busy, as usual. Work stuff, family stuff, etc. The usual. Anyway, apparently I got 10,000 pageviews today. (and it only took 3.5 years! )

I'm expecting to post the next two pages of Unholy tomorrow. I only have one more panel to finish and could do it today if I wanted to be super ambitious (a.k.a. all-nighter), but I'd rather do a thorough job and not rush it -- and I'd rather not be a zombie at work tomorrow.

I got a week of vacation coming up in early April! Which means one week dedicated completely to personal artwork. YAY!

At this moment, I'm eating Snyder's "Old Tyme" pretzels. They're the kind that's hard, but really big and fat. I'm kind of addicted...

I really am trying to catch up on looking at all the deviations and journal entries and comments I've been neglecting. I shall try my best!

Okay, yeah. I really need to not be sitting right next to the bag of pretzels...

Just in case anyone didn't know. ^_^ There's no mistaking it if you know me in person, but I call myself Bob, and I admit my self portrait looks a little manly... (well, the kind of semi-manly that would probably get you beaten up a lot. ^_^) But yeah. Girl.

If you'd prefer to think of me as a guy, or maybe an alpaca, feel free. But I'm kind of curious -- how many of you thought I was a guy? Fess up! I know there's at least a few!
