Man, those are long eyelashes.... o_O I think they work, though. They're long enough to be past feminine and into inhuman. Sort of make me think of spiders, actually. *shivers* Anyways, I love his hair. The slight swirl makes it actually look fiery, rather than just being a serious abuse of hairspray.

I do not envy those eyelashes. I have long ones and the irritation... *shudder*

Anyway, he looks awesome, if painfully turned around. I especially like the hair details, and that leathery scale armor. Very nice.

I love his hair! It really looks like liquid fire, and the warm colors work so nicely with the hints of purple in his skin.

Those dragon ornaments are pretty. Did you actually work on them, or were you sort of overseeing the project?

As for the dragon ornaments, I'd say it's more like overseeing, not physically sculpting them. That particular set was designed by another developer and then handed over to me, then I art directed the sculpting and painting, and on this occasion did some paint touch-ups myself. Basically, I get sent pictures of the sculptures, then I do lots of overlays on the pictures to show how everything should be changed, they make the corrections and send the pictures back, I critique them again, and so on until everything looks good. ^_^

For the rest of the ornaments in the series, I'm art directing from concept to PPS (pre-production sample). It's a fun series to work on.

I always like it when I get to draw my own concepts, but it doesn't happen too often because we don't have enough time. But I did get to draw some cat figurines that are coming up soon, which I'll post a link to when they go public!
