I was going through Unholy withdrawal, so I figured I'd do a little doodle of Pogo. I kind of liked the sketch, so... this is what I did to it. Ack, this is why I suck at keeping a sketchbook. Half my doodles turn into full illustrations.

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to catch Pogo in one of his rare contemplative moods. And it's been a long time since I did something in this style. This all took me forever, but it was fun, and I hope to God it's the last piece I have to do on this seven-year-old computer!!! (Macbook Pro is in the mail! And then I can resume work on Unholy!)

Wow, what a gorgeous illustration and with such beautiful seasonal colours. Your character Pogo looks so cool and so good. Here he doesn't look pervy, he looks very pensive, I almost feel safe like sitting next to him. Argh, the fav'ing finger, I can't control it! *clicks* :D

Just lovely. Especially the lighting and the warm colors... and the detailed leaves in the foreground with the faded out background is a nice touch. And the textures... guh. This picture is just amazing.

This is awesome... it's a very quiet feeling piece, but it's thick with atmosphere and detail. Especially in his watch collection. It's nice to see his pensive side!

Ooooh, very nice! I love the autumn, quiet feeling of the picture. The details are insane! They're so good. How did you managed to get all that done?! I totally love Pogo's nose. It's so distinctive. :D

Hehe, thank you! ^_^ Every once in awhile, I get the urge to "honk" his nose... I think that's a bad sign when it comes to my own mental condition!

Yeah, he's had quite a few nose jobs and subtle design changes since his creation, but ever since I actually started work on the comic, it's all settled out, and his nose is here to stay! ^_^
