Artist's Comments

This piece was done for my illustration class early on in 2005. The assignment was to create an image for a charity. This is one of the few "serious" works I've done for my illustration classes... It's supposed to be for a bird rescue organization.

This was painted entirely in Photoshop. My cockatiel, Ebo, kindly agreed to model for me while I worked on this picture.

Awesomeness :3, adorable, and very fluffy. The good wing could have been a bit bigger though, I think.

One picture speaks a thousand words...but one with meaning speaks millions. this is a very detailed,marvelous picture. It really makes you stop and think about birds, and if you have one(like me), it makes you think how lucky you are to have a bird that you know is out of Danger and under your sheltering wing.
